We’re pleased to confirm that all light changes for the A1 LED upgrade project have now been successfully completed. This milestone marks a significant step forward in improving energy efficiency, visibility, and long-term performance along this key route.

With the lantern replacements finished, our focus now turns to the next and more demanding phase of the project: column works. This stage involves complex planning, traffic management, and precise installation, making it one of the most labour-intensive parts of the scheme. The hard work truly begins here.
